Matt Ridley, world-renowned author has been a client of ours for over 10 years now and we have recently re-platformed his new website mattridley.co.uk from Umbraco to WordPress.

We’re thrilled to highlight our recent collaboration with Matt Ridley, renowned author and journalist, in transitioning his extensive blog from an end-of-life Umbraco 7 platform to a more future-proof WordPress environment. Given Matt’s large following and the wealth of content involved—over 800 blog posts—this was no small feat.

Our skilled developers at Retox crafted a bespoke import tool to seamlessly migrate all existing blog posts. This automated process saved countless hours of manual effort, allowing Matt and his PA Michelle to focus on what they do best: creating compelling content. The switch to WordPress provides Matt with a more robust, scalable platform that will support his evolving needs, ensuring that his insightful writings continue to reach and inspire his broad audience well into the future.
