Froneri is a young ice-cream, frozen food and chilled dairy company bringing together decades of business and manufacturing expertise from Nestle and R&R Ice Cream. Froneri is now the second largest ice cream manufacturer in Europe and the third largest in the world. You will find their products and brands in over 20 countries across the globe including Fab lollies, Kelly’s Ice cream, Movenpick and Milka to name but a few.
Froneri required a new website and content management system that would act as a new online platform to present and promote the new Froneri name and the amazing brands and products they produce around the globe. It was essential that our solution was multi-lingual, flexible and could be easily rolled out by each country providing a strong and cohesive brand experience for customers whilst still being able to accommodate and reflect the different languages, cultures and markets.
The Solution
The key to the success of this project was finding a content management system which would provide totally bespoke and unlimited design options and also provide the multi-lingual and multi-site to a single CMS capabilities. The design challenge was to come up with a design framework which presented a unified Froneri brand image across all of the different country websites whilst delivering each country something that was also unique to them.
Retox designed the strongly branded site to be both scalable and flexible and built it on an Umbraco content management system which was able to accommodate the language options and host multiple versions of the site to represent the individual countries on a single CMS. Each country has their own log in area, and control over their own site content within the branded templates. The sites were designed to be fully responsive and fully functional.
